Editor’s Note #4

The Daily Bitsian is meant to be all about college life (sometimes too much, but that’s just love). As an educational institution, excluding the rather pressing issue of academics would be a major oversight. We thus bring to you our fourth issue – ‘Another Brick in the Wall’, dedicated to arguably the greatest musicians to grace the Earth.

T1 season approaches, and we have listed out distractions to avoid and music to help you along the way. Also, hear from the first benchers and the tech geeks attempting to make you love what you’re here to learn, once again. With 5th September memories still afresh, consider this a tribute to all our teachers, as well.

Election hangover also persists, as we bring to you an analysis of the manifestos of our President and General Secretary. Besides this, we have our regular columns: Campus Buzz and Just Bitsian Things.

In Potpourri, TDB goes multilingual, featuring a poignant Hindi poem. Also check out the prose, photograph and artwork sections – both first and final year students have contributed heavily to this issue, I am proud to state.

So this is it, folks, have fun reading. Do send in more contributions, and drop a message to our Facebook page regarding any doubts about TDB. See you post-T1, when we have all resurfaced from our textbooks.
